What is in bloom when you marry will shape the day more than any colour scheme.
Seasonal flowers cost less, travel better, and look like they belong where you are standing. Imported stems that have spent two days in a box will never have the same life as something cut nearby that morning, however carefully they are arranged.
Ask what is at its best the week you marry, then build outwards from that.
Bring your florist a photograph of the room, not just a colour swatch. Light does more to a bouquet than any palette decision, and a good florist will tell you honestly when a shade you love will disappear under warm evening light.
